Sheet metal forming is a big sub-area of tank and apparatus building, which is why we’re extremely well-positioned in this area at Reiner Schmitt GmbH Brennereitechnik.

In addition to producing our own components and part, we also offer contract manufacturing on an individual basis.

We distinguish two work areas of sheet metal forming, cutting to size and reshaping.

For cutting to size we use a CNC sheet metal shear. CNC stands for „Computerized Numerical Control„, which means the machine is computer-controlled and therefore high in precision. The metal is cut by hydraulically pressing the blade to the sheet.

We use roll bending machines for reshaping, which come in 3 and 4 roll variants. That’s how metal sheets, profiles and pipes can be transformed into complete circular forms, partial segments of a circle or cylindrical bottoms. The 4 roll bending machine has the benefit over its 3 rolled sister that the sheet is secured throughout the entire bending process, thanks to being clamped between upper and lower roll.

You can find a selection of our machines below.
